Projects/Portfolio: Town of Granger Infrastructure Improvements, Granger, Wyoming
Nelson Engineering has worked with the Town of Granger in developing and moving forward into construction on a long-range rehabilitation, replacement, and extension program for its water, sanitary sewer, and streets infrastructures.
Included are the rehabilitation of all existing water distribution and sanitary sewer collection mains, extension of water distribution and sanitary sewer collection mains infrastructure under the tracks of the Union Pacific Railroad to a new service area destined to become a light industrial district, construction of a new water storage tank at sufficient elevation and of sufficient size to provide the Town with adequate water storage, pressure, and fire protection, and the construction of a new water treatment facility which includes a presedimentation facility to address the often highly-turbid supply from the Green and Ham's Fork Rivers. The program has been funded through a creative mix of locally-derived utilities fees, Specific Purpose Excise Tax monies, and grants from both the Wyoming Water Development Commission and the State Loan and Investment Board.
