Job Description

Nelson Engineering is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to assist in site and earthwork design work at our Jackson, Wyoming office.

Responsibilities:

• Site layout and grading
• Mass earthwork/haul design
• Stormwater and open channel design
• Utility design
• Contract Documents and Construction Specifications
• Engineer's Estimates

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Comfortable working independently as well as on a team
• Detail oriented and quality focused

Qualifications:

• BS in Civil Engineering with 2 to 6 years of experience
• Intermediate to advanced Civil 3D and AutoCAD skills are a must
• Large scale grading and earthmoving project experience desired
• Stormwater, wastewater, water transmission, open channel flow software skills desired
• EIT with the ability to obtain PE within 3 years, required, PE a plus
