Nelson Engineering provides construction engineering services including project management, resident project representation, construction inspection, and quality assurance testing and inspection. These services have been provided on large and small projects for a diverse spectrum of clients throughout our firm’s history.
Nelson Engineering’s role is simple: to represent the Owner’s interests, complete a project on time, on budget, and achieve a high quality product. Nelson Engineering is proud of the projects for which it has provided construction engineering services.
Our project managers are experienced senior engineers with decades of experience. Project management by the lead designer engineer ensures the intent and durability inherent in the design are incorporated in construction. We provide Resident Project Representatives who are experienced, and understand standard construction practices, applicable public works standards, performance testing procedures, and most importantly, have a thorough knowledge of the specific project plans and specifications. Our team builds durable, operable projects.
Quality Assurance— Our quality assurance laboratory performs soils density and gradation analyses, concrete cylinder strength testing, and mortar testing. Field testing includes Nuclear Gauge density testing, rebar and steel inspections, and concrete testing. Our laboratory is staffed by experienced technicians certified under WYDOT, ASTM, and ACI. Concrete and masonry compression and soils testing equipment is calibrated annually to assure accuracy and consistency.
Beyond our own laboratory testing capabilities, Nelson Engineering has long-standing working relationships with regional laboratory facilities and can arrange for specialty testing of soils, masonry blocks, and steel. |
